ColdFusion, Flex, Java, Mobile and Wireless, and whatever else tickles my fancy.

ColdFusion Powered Proxyclick Feeds Locals (Including Microsoft Employees) And Wins Awards
Belgian software company Proxyclick positions itself as a "life improvement platform". Their primary application is ColdFusion powered Click'n Lunch and is used by employees at lots of local companies (including Microsoft Belgium) to order lunch and more. And the app just won the B2B BeCommerce Award 2009.
ESRI Users Love Flex, And ColdFusion, Too
We have a long history with ESRI, the world's leading GIS technology company, and ESRI has long supported the use of Flash and Flex as a front-end to the offerings. But check out the ArcGIS Server Live User Sites page - Flex examples dominate! (And the very first app listed is powered by ColdFusion, too, and built by our pals at ROK Technologies).
Seattle's Virginia Mason Powered By ColdFusion
I discovered this one while in Seattle this week. Virginia Mason Medical Center is an award-winning, private, not-for-profit organization offering a network of primary and specialty care clinics throughout the Puget Sound region and a hospital in Seattle. And their website, including the staff portal, is all powered by ColdFusion 8.

The Center for Consumer Freedom is a nonprofit organization devoted to promoting personal responsibility and protecting consumer choices. The Center for Consumer Freedom operates a whole slew of web sites, including PETA Kills Animals, ActivistCash.com, CSPI Scam, Animal Scam, mercuryfacts.org, PhysicianScam.com, HumaneWatch, and more. And all of these sites are powered by ColdFusion 8.
ColdFusion Helps Calculate Wedding Costs
This one sent to me by Shane McMurray, founder of The Wedding Report, Inc. Cost of Wedding attempts to help couples budget and plan wedding costs. While the list of items that "are included in the average wedding cost or wedding budget" definitely raised my eyebrows, the site is simple, focused, intuitive, and was ranked #14 in The 75 Best Wedding Web Sites on Brides magazine's brides.com. And, of course, the site is fully powered by ColdFusion.
ColdFusion Powers Health And Human Services Award Winning girlshealth.gov
girlshealth.gov was created to help girls (ages 10-16) learn about health, growing up, and issues they may face. It focuses on health topics that girls are concerned about and helps motivate them to choose healthy behaviors by using positive, supportive, and non-threatening messages. The site gives girls reliable, useful information on the health issues they will face as they become young women and tips on handling relationships with family and friends, at school and at home. girlshealth.gov is a project of the U.S. Department of Health &Human Services' Office on Women's Health, and was the Health Improvement Institute's Aesculapius Award 2008 Award of Excellence. And the site is completely powered by ColdFusion.
ColdFusion Powered U.K. Government Site Wins Award
U.K. based OWL allows police to work with neighborhood watch groups, communicating directly with the public via email, phone, fax, SMS, print, and publishing to the OWL website. It features a contact management system to manage tens of thousands of contacts, and it ties into the Royal Mail database. The site is geographically aware and supports location and proximity based searches. The public can log in to manage their own data, all managed by integrated security. The entire system is built in ColdFusion. And they have announced that the application has been awarded an e-Government National Award from the British Government.

The Flip Powered By ColdFusion And Flex
The Flip products are wonderful, small portable super-friendly video cameras (my 10 year old is becoming a budding director thanks to one he just got). The Flip website uses Flex in various places, including for designing your own Flip Mino. And then when you checkout, the online store is powered by ColdFusion 8.
City Of Tigard Crime Spotter Powered By ColdFusion
Government Technology is running a story about how the city of Tigard, OR, recently completed a 24-month enterprise GIS implementation resulting in a centralized corporate geodatabase environment used by the police department, public works, community development, and more.
